Does anyone have a link to, or have any tips on how to go about this? I've replaced a head / timing belt on a mazda b6 motor before, so I have intermediate skills to pay the bills.

Reason im doing this is that I have just been informed that my warrantee is no more, even though I bought the car under the impression that i have an extra 5 years warantee left at time of purchace (long story)

My drivers side window just stopped working, and Mitsbubishi refused to help (because they are bastards)

ANYWAY, any tips for replacing this dreaded belt?

    Cheers

It's not hard but if you stuff it you will trash your engine.

See if you can get the big harmonic balancer pulley off.

If you get past that point you probably can do the rest...but if you struggle there then give up and pay for it.

you need to get the main pulley off to access the last bolt on the bottom plastic cover.
